Medical Supply & Device Logistics Ā· Canada-Wide
Delivery into hospitals, clinics, laboratories and care homes, where a missed drop can move a surgery date. Scheduled, tracked and delivered to the department rather than left at a loading bay, the same disciplined scheduling behind our reliable industrial logistics work.

What Is At Stake
In most industries a late delivery costs money. In healthcare there is usually a patient at the end of it. A surgical kit that misses its slot can postpone an operation that took months to schedule. A laboratory sample that sits too long stops being testable and the patient gets asked to come back. A consumable that runs out on a ward gets borrowed from another ward, and the shortage simply moves, the same predictable, regulated rigor we apply across our professional pharmaceutical logistics work. That changes what matters in a logistics partner. Speed is part of it, but predictability matters more, because a hospital can plan around a delivery that always arrives at ten o’clock and cannot plan around one that usually arrives sometime that day.
Consignment & Loaner Kits
Medical device companies carry a problem most industries never encounter. A large share of their stock lives permanently in hospitals they do not control, either as consignment inventory the hospital only pays for when it is used, or as loaner kits that travel in for a specific procedure and out again afterwards, the same kind of asset tracking we handle for our our manufacturing logistics clients. Both are expensive to get wrong. Consignment stock quietly expires on a shelf nobody audits. Loaner kits go missing between hospitals, or arrive incomplete for a procedure already booked. Managing this properly means knowing where every kit is, what is inside it, what expires when, and getting it back, cleaned and reissued in time for the next case. We treat kit tracking and returns as part of the job rather than as an afterthought once the outbound delivery is done.

Where It Goes
Six kinds of building, each with its own way of receiving goods.
Hospitals & Surgical Centres
Clinics & Physician Offices
Diagnostic Laboratories
Long-Term Care Homes
Dental & Specialist Practices
Home Care & Community Services
Delivering into these buildings is harder than it looks from outside. Many hospitals have one shared loading bay for the whole site, with a booking system and a queue. A clinic in a medical tower may have no bay at all, only an underground car park with a height restriction and a service lift shared with everyone else in the building. A care home usually has neither and expects a driver to come to reception. This is why the last hundred metres matter more in healthcare than almost anywhere else, and why drivers who know a site’s access arrangements are worth considerably more than drivers who do not.Ā
Delivery Standards
Shared loading bays run on appointments. Arriving outside your window often means not being unloaded at all.
Goods left at a bay can sit for hours. Delivery to the ward, theatre or laboratory that ordered them is what the site actually needs.
A named person signing at the point of delivery, so custody is recorded rather than assumed.
Stock rotated and dated so the shortest-dated items are used first rather than found expired later.
Access routes, lift codes and receiving contacts vary by building, and a driver who already knows them saves everyone time.

Client Experience
“Our loaner kits were the problem. They would go out for a case, come back late or incomplete, and then be short for the next booking. Having them tracked and turned around properly means we stopped buying duplicate sets to cover the gaps.”Ā

“Deliveries used to reach the loading bay and then stop. Getting them to the actual department has removed a daily job from our clinical staff that was never theirs to do in the first place.”Ā

Common Questions
Storage and delivery of medical supplies, devices, equipment and samples into hospitals, clinics, laboratories and care settings, including the specialist handling those products need.
Regulated drug products have their own licensing and handling requirements, which our pharmaceutical logistics service covers. This page covers devices, consumables, equipment and samples.
Yes. Delivery to the department that ordered the goods is a standard part of the service rather than an extra, since goods left at a bay often do not reach the people waiting for them.
Yes, including tracking what is held where, monitoring expiry dates and replenishing what has been used.
Yes. Kits are tracked out, returned, checked for completeness and reissued, so a kit is ready for the next booking rather than found short on the day.
Yes, on scheduled collection routes built around the receiving laboratory's cut-off times, since a sample arriving after cut-off usually cannot be processed that day.
Same-day dispatch is available for urgent requirements, and we can hold agreed stock closer to your sites to shorten response times further.
