The Basics

What Warehouse Logistics Means

Warehouse logistics covers everything that happens to your stock while it sits in a building. Goods arrive on a truck and get checked in. They get put away in a set spot so they can be found again. They get counted regularly so the number on your screen matches the number on the shelf. And when an order comes in, they get picked and made ready to ship. Doing this yourself means renting space, buying racking and hiring staff, the same overhead we absorb for clients across our construction logistics solutions. Handing it to a warehouse partner means you pay for the space and work you actually use, and nothing more.

Using ENorth Warehouse Logistics

How Goods Come In

From The Truck To The Shelf

When your goods arrive, the work starts before anything gets stored. Each delivery is checked against the paperwork to make sure the right items turned up in the right quantity, and anything damaged in transit is noted straight away rather than found weeks later, the same care applied across our chemical logistics handling. Items are then scanned and given a fixed spot in the building, so the system knows exactly which aisle and shelf holds your stock. That spot is recorded against your account, which is what makes a later pick fast and accurate. Most goods are checked in and ready to order the same day they arrive.

Stock You Can Count On

What Clients Say About Storing With ENorth

“Our stock figures never used to match what was actually on the shelf, so we were either overselling or sitting on stock we forgot we had. Now the number on screen is the number in the building, and we plan orders around it without second guessing.”

Operations Manager

Home Goods Brand, Mississauga

“We used to rent a unit that was half empty for eight months of the year and far too small for the other four. Paying only for the space we use has saved us more than the storage itself costs.”
